Answer: User account is locked out after 7 failed attempts.
Question: How long is the lockout period?
Answer: The lockout period is 15 minutes.
Question: Does an Organization Admin have the ability to unlock user accounts?
Answer: Organization Admin’s do not have the ability to unlock users that have been locked out.
Question: Does Verkada Technical Support have the ability to unlock user accounts?
Answer: Verkada Technical Support does not have the ability to unlock user accounts.
Question: Does Verkada Support have the ability to set a users password?
Answer: Verkada Technical Support does not have the ability to set user passwords.
Question: How long does the Verkada new account activation link email last before it expires.
Answer: The Verkada new account activation link email expires after 24 hours.
Question: How long does a Verkada password reset link email last before it expires?
Answer: The password reset link email expires after 24 hours.
Question: Does Does an Organization Admin have the ability to disable 2 Factor Authentication for another user’s account?
Answer: Organization Admin’s do not have the ability to disable 2 Factor Authentication for another user’s account.

Answer: Verkada Technical Support does not have the ability to disable 2 Factor Authentication for a user.
Question: How do I access a users Command account that has left our company or organization?
Answer: To access another user’s account, you will need access to their mailbox or add their email address to as an alias to your mailbox. Once you have access to their mailbox or receive emails on their behalf, perform a password reset to receive a password reset link via email. With the password reset link, you can reset the password to their account and login.

Question: What is the Verkada password complexity requirement?
Answer: The password must be at least 8 characters, contain one number (0-9) and at least one special character, eg !@#$%&.
Question: I removed and re-added a user, why didn’t they get an invite email?
Answer: Email invites are only sent for users who have never had a Verkada account. If you are trying to help a user regain access to Verkada Command, please have them do a password reset.
